Hans Varela created a statue commissioned by APSS dedicated to Nossa Senhora de Troia, the patron saint of the fishermen of Setúbal, honoring the human effort and the risks taken by the men of the sea in their daily lives, thus creating a space intended for comfort, reflection, and peace.
